What to do in Kope?
ENERGY POINTS - 13 points have been found and identified on the Kope site itself, which have a beneficial or positive effect on our health. Staying on these points has a calming effect on the person, as they stimulate the acupuncture points and soften the meridians, purify the body in the depths and restore the vital energy.
RIBNIŠKA KOČA - One of the most beautiful and well-known routes in Pohorje is definitely the route from
Pungart to Ribniška koča. You can spend a beautiful day in nature if you leave in the morning from
Grmovškov dom and head to Ribniška koča.
VELIKA KOPA - Velika Kopa (1542 m above sea level) is the second highest peak in Pohorje. On
the top, a beautiful view of Mislinjska and part of the Drava Valley awaits us, Uršlja Gora, Peca,
Raduha, Golica and Svinška planina and all the neighboring mountain ranges. The geodetic point is also indicated here. Velika Kopa is a ski resort in winter that attracts visitors from all over Slovenia and abroad, in
a popular walking spot in summer.
ČRNI VRH - Črni vrh is located 10 minutes from the path to Ribniška koča, at an altitude of 1543 m.a.s.l. and is the highest peak of Pohorje. It will take you 50 minutes from Pungart. On the ''authority top'' grows resava grass, and on the east and north sides it is overgrown with low spruces.
MRZLI STUDENEC - North-west of Črni vrh is located Mrzli studenec, which is one
the highest springs in Pohorje. There you can quench your thirst with cold refreshing water. Blueberry plantations are located near the location.
RIBNIŠKO JEZERO - It is a nature reserve and belongs to the Natura 2000 protected area. It is not
a real lake, but a high peat bog, which is characterized by being fed only by rainwater.
Ribniško lake is located at an altitude of 1490 meters, at the foot of Jezerski vrh, and is one of the
the most beautiful peat bogs in Pohorje.
LOVRENŠKA JEZERA - They are located in the area of a high bog in the middle of Pohorje between Ribniško Pohorje and Rogla. The lakes can be viewed along a wooden path that is placed above the marsh.
At the beginning of the trail, there is a lookout tower from where there is a wonderful view of the lakes and marshes.
SGERM'S SPRUCE - Sgerm's spruce stands on Sgerm's homestead in the municipality of Ribnica na Pohorju. Spruce, which is one of the most important examples of our natural heritage. Sgerm's
spruce is a magnificent common spruce, which is 61.8 meters high and
with a diameter of 1.13 meters, the tallest tree in Slovenia and in all of Central Europe.
